Our Mission

PathWays Collective offers Islamic Recovery Advocacy and Education by bridging classical spiritual wisdom with the realities of addiction recovery. We provide spiritually grounded resources, training, and tools designed for individuals and treatment professionals alike.

We work to illuminate the spiritual dimensions of healing by drawing from the depth of Islamic tradition and the time-tested principles of the 12 Steps. Our mission is to make recovery accessible, authentic, and spiritually resonant, whether you are walking the path yourself or supporting others through it.

Through books, podcasts, workshops, and professional development offerings, we offer tools that are both spiritually rooted and professionally relevant. We aim to equip people in recovery and the professionals who serve them with cultural insight and spiritual integrity.

About Me

I’m a Muslim writer, speaker, and recovery advocate focused on the intersection of Islamic spirituality and addiction recovery. I’m also the author of From Liquor to Dhikr: Islam and the 12 Steps, a book that bridges the wisdom of the Twelve Step tradition with the heart of the Islamic path. In addition, I host the Path of the Sober Seeker podcast, where I explore themes of recovery, faith, and spiritual growth through open, grounded conversations.

As a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor (CDCA), I work to help people move from active addiction to stability, wellness, and personal growth. My work is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-informed, and grounded in lived experience — combining professional training with spiritual insight to support recovery and transformation.

My approach is centered on honesty, presence, and inner alignment — offering a perspective rooted in lived experience, professional practice, and a sincere commitment to healing and remembrance.

This platform is a space for anyone seeking a deeper, more spiritually grounded path — whether you're in recovery, exploring Islam, or simply looking for truth.
